Auction???? That was my first thought. How does all this work?

If I am really the winning bidder, is the house going to be sold for my bid amount? How can I trust that is what is going to really happen? In the past, I had been to an auction, been the high bidder, got all excited, and then had been told that the seller would not honor that bid amount… So what made this any better of a situation? I was told by Stephanie that it is a matter of trust. After much consideration, and a vote of confidence from my wife, we decided to take part in the bidding.

Low and behold, we were the winning bidders. I still had many questions, but Stephanie provided lots of information.

My wife and I closed on our dream home on the water within 3 weeks of the auction and got to move in before Christmas. What a wonderful gift to my family!
